Brightly provide software products which support local authority, contractors and other organisations, predominantly in the highways sector, deliver their net zero and social value goals. This role promotes and drives our client’s success in these areas, being the expert where they lack the skills and knowledge and trusted advisor to support their needs.
Working in conjunction with the Account Directors, this role will have access to all current and new clients to book and deliver meetings to discuss their sustainability targets, and our products, until it reaches sales negotiation at which point the Account Director will take over and contract with the client.
Passionate about giving back to the community either via environmental savings or social impact
Credible and have recognised experience in environmental or social impact delivery
Knowledgeable in Scope 1,2 & 3 Emissions
Knowledgeable in the Carbon Calculation and Accounting Standard or other public infrastructure standards
Highly motivated and determined to achieve wide-spread reach
Able to work well in a team and with commercial awareness to support the Sales team to drive revenue through our environmental products.
Be the expert and thought leader in carbon emission reporting and community benefit products for Brightly.
Be the owner of the sustainability product portfolio number and drive Account Directors to achieve their bookings target
Lead Brightly social value initiatives in conjunction with Siemens to provide metrics on deliverables both for Brightly and our clients.
Develop an understanding of the community benefits of the work our local authorities and contractors undertake, how we can measure them and provide insights to the industry.
Help our clients, local authorities and contractors, to deliver on their wider sustainability goals, working towards net zero goals and developing their carbon reduction plans.
Provide feedback to Product Managers on enhancements to the products.
Present at trade shows, conferences and webinars
Experience in environmental or sustainability role.
Ability to build strong relationships with clients/stakeholders.
Strong presentation skills and experience public speaking.
Excellent communication skills.
Any experience within the target market, with Software or SaaS or an understanding of public sector would be advantageous
